A tale of humble origins.
Where does one even start? I guess with the start. From the time I was a little kid, I kept on trying all manner of hobbies. My passions were anywhere and everywhere: books, hiking, sports, and that brief excursion in football where I played for my school. I just couldn't get enough of this world. Everywhere was interesting, full of wonder and curiosity. I used to ride with friends almost every day, mostly for getting into mischief. It was something through which I could keep my mind occupied because back at home, things weren't exactly rosy since my parents were separated.
This is when gardening came into my life. Always an outdoors kind of person, it wasn't until one day in my mom's little courtyard that I saw a flower that stopped me dead in my tracks. It was a bee balm flower and, to young eyes, seemed like something straight out of a storybook: absolutely stunning. I happened to be instantly hooked, ran to my mother, and asked her to tell me everything about it. From that moment on, gardening became my favorite hobby, which has been in full bloom ever since.
Fast forward to today, and that passion has flowered into my website. My daughter helped me get it up and running; she's a whiz at programming and design, and my wife was the one who finally gave me the push I needed after years of procrastination. Since that barrier has finally been overthrown, I look forward to sharing what I've learned here based on years of effort and hard work accumulated by practicing this hobby almost every day. Tips and tricks on how to create the perfect garden space, showing how it really transforms and elevates your outdoor area - those are some of my goals.
